TOMS Shoes was founded on a simple premise: for every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of shoes to a child in need.  One for One.  Since our beginning in May 2006, TOMS has given away over 115,000 pairs of shoes to children in need around the world.  TOMS plans to more than double this giving number the upcoming year.

In less than three years:

  • TOMS has been featured in TIME, Vogue, Elle, O Magazine, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, CNN and countless other media sources!
  • Celebrities such as Scarlett Johansson, Keira Knightley and Tobey Maguire wear and promote TOMS.
  • The National Design Museum, Cooper Hewitt, honored TOMS with its prestigious People’s Design Award.
  • In 2008, TOMS created a special edition shoe with Ralph Lauren.  This collaboration marked the first time in Mr. Lauren’s 40-year career that he has ever partnered with an outside brand.
